If you expand your search onto other boards and websites you might find something sooner as well.

But being willing to travel to look at and pick a car up opens up your opportunities even more.

I'm prepared to part with my 335d for a nice western (I'm in New Mexico) E86 M Coupe. No hurry and not too picky about color, mileage etc. I do prefer a coupe that has been well maintained and not modded excessively.

Z4M Buyers Guide does a pretty good job of picking up most of the Z4M's that are advertised.

Here are the places I was looking (in addition to the classifieds on here) when I was looking for mine:

You can also do craigslist and ebay but you've got to be pretty hard core to stick with that to find what you want.

You can try to find Z4M's that are BMW dealers by going to:

but you won't find many and they're generally overpriced.

Be prepared to broaden your search geographically to be able to get the best deal. I had to fly to find mine and drive 1800 miles to get it back home.

When you're doing your search you'll find it handy to be able to check what options are actually on the car (and whether it's a real M) by going to:

When you finally find one that you're serious about you can find local independent shop to do a pre-purchase inspection by going to:
