Shift Crazy
Is there a way to have my 08 Z4C 3.0si auto box tuned? Tired of it overriding me at every autocross. Shifts into 3rd when I need to hold 2nd. Really missing my roadster that had the 5spd.
Thanks for any advice! |

I know with Porsche's tuners can tune the TipTronic boxes in 997 gen cars... there has to be someone out there that can offer custom calibrations.
EDIT... just found one. Just search "BMW custom TCU tuning". https://sutphintuning.com/

I'm not sure if it's equal across the n52 autos but even stock my z4 m54 felt more controlled to hold a gear than what I'm feeling in my e82 128, granted my side by side comparison now is with the s/c on the z4 but I notice less on the m54 of the gear box going into its "suggested select" of gear before it ultimately shifts if you don't than on the n52.
