Mk IV Nav Full Reset?
So I tried to update my nav unit to ver. 32 and found out partway into the install that the disc was corrupt. Now, my display doesn't work at all, but the functions will still work, like the radio and my aux port.
Is there a way to do a factory reset on the system to revert it back to the software it came with, and possibly have my display working again, or will I have to buy another unit? |

Burn a V32 CD that is not corrupt and install it, that should fix it. Burn at the slowest speed.
Check xoutpost for more info on the nav system. I install the night mode version. |

Same thing happened to me.
Burned a new CD at slowest speed and on a better computer. Worked fine on the second try. At least when it failed your CD didn't refuse to eject, like mine did.
