Cruise control indicator light?
I read the owner's manual this time before posting so hopefully this will not be another n00b idiot question.
We drove the Z4 to a gathering last night and came home after dark. It was my first time driving the car in darkness as well as the first time I've spent more than about 5 minutes driving on any kind of limited access highway. I decided to fiddle with the cruise control because I like using that feature on long highway drives. I figured it out - although it is not what I'd call intuitive compared to other cars I've been in - but I was surprised by there being no apparent indicator on the instrument cluster informing me that cruise control was active. In fact one time it caught me by surprise. This morning I perused the owner's manual to see if there was an indicator, thinking that perhaps mine had burned out or was malfunctioning. I found none. Am I missing something? |

Nope, you have it right.
It doesn't seem to have any concept of "off", just engaged or disengaged. Therefore no need for an "on" light. Like the Navi always has a destination.
