Was also hoping to get word about that rear spoiler. I'd be interested in it even though it prob has no functionality. I also sent the guy an email but no answer. Oh well.

Has anyone gotten any word back about this rear spoiler? If not, I think a we could use a spoiler like this on our coupes. Like someone else mentioned, this is what I picture in my mind when I think of a proper spoiler for this car. I think a combination of this.....
And this......would be a great success..... |

I always thought the coupes had something missing in the rear, however I think the OEM trunk lip looks a bit like an after thought. The design is great with the dip in the center following the roof lines, however it is a bit too subtle. Like I said, a combination of the size of that "unknown" spoiler, and the design of the OEM spoiler would be a great addition to the coupe. I am not too familiar with the major players in the Z4 aftermarket, but who is manufacturing aero components for these cars in the US? I would venture to guess an affordable spoiler would do quite well in a group buy.

I agree, after some years spent messing with different cars, it seems some of the nicest aero components come from the smaller operations as opposed to the larger manufactures. The input on these type of forums create some real nice stuff.
