Fender Rolling Availability

Hey folks,

A good friend of mine has rolled my fenders so I can run 18x10 with 15mm spacers and has rolled my fronts for my 275 X 4 setup. He has done an amazing job, very quickly, and all four were done in 40 minutes.

He has asked me to see if there was any more interest in doing more e46 m3s and I told him I would inquire on the forums. He has done Mazdas, VWs, Hondas and two more e46 m3s aside from mine. He estimates he has accomplished nearly 40 cars since he bought the equipment.

Here is a few snaps of the work he has done to my vehicle. No damages no marks and no unusual bends were left on the panels after he was finished and his tools are well kept and well maintained. We live in MD close to Laurel and can drive up to 50 miles or have a meeting in one general location to facilitate multiple people at once We will bring the equipment necessary to fulfill the job.

Pricing:
Two corners: 75
All corners: 125

Over four people at once: 75 for all four corners

I honestly don't blame you for going and doing this with someone who owns a fender roller as they're hard to find and costly to purchase for simply rolling your fenders once. The process itself is rather easy on our cars though (BMWs in general) and I would be confident to say that it is something that if you would like to do on your own you most certainly could. Sometimes H&F or auto part locations will carry a fender roller and will rent it out to you for a day or other designated period.

I ended up doing this in a "homemade" way on my own when I had my Z3 and it ended up pretty good... As long as your careful and patient it really isn't too hard a process, just a scary one.

Your friend has done an excellent job here!

I've heard conflicting stories on this but the fact that it seems someone (although I can't remember who or where I read it) has is promising. Also, is rolling on a fender with non-factory paint an absolute no-no due to the increased likelihood of cracking? My rears rub ever so slightly when I'm taking an steep entry/exit at 45* but one of my rear fenders had to be repainted last year.

With time and patience you should be fine. I've seen much older cars with much iffier paint get through some pretty serious rolling.

Heating the paint up is the key.
