2005 BMW Z4 E85, black, manual, 25k miles, well maintained, APEX EC-7
I'm going to try and address any questions you may have so please read all the way through. **Sold. Thanks everyone! It's been fun.** Quick Facts
The Details I'm selling my very gently owned and well maintained Z4. I've had this since November 2010 and it has been rock solid reliable ever since and based on the previous owners, them as well. It is just over 25,000 miles and counting as it's still being driven. It just had it's inspection I done and all issues have been addressed. It had two oil seals that needed to be replaced and that's it. Not bad for a 9yo Bimmer. This is the only work that's ever needed to be done, and very normal for it's age from what my mechanic said. (Mike & Henry's Auto Service in Western Springs) There were two owners before me, the original owner and the one I purchased it from. The previous owner's wife worked with the original owner that brought it to Illinois from Las Vegas. His lease came up and she took it over. After it was paid off the title was moved to her husband. Thus, I'm the 4th owner. All maintenance has been done on time and I have recorded all my oil changes and maintenance over the years. I have done all minor maintenance myself and logged it. It comes with a very new set of APEX EC-7 wheels and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that look amazing on it, also in the sale are the original 16" wheels with very low use (just over 10k miles) Continental DWS tires. Original wheels and tires are in excellent condition. Since the horrible run flats were removed, I carry a compact spare in the trunk which will be included in the sale. When I put the APEX wheels on last Spring, I also replaced the lug bolts with a stud conversion kit from APEX. Makes replacing wheels much easier. This is removable and the original bolts will be included. Also at the time of installing the wheels, the shocks and springs were replaced with Koni Yellow adjustable dampers and Eibach Pro-kit springs. The ride is fantastic and cornering is very tight and confident. Also included in the sale is a fitted cover, original Cocomats brand floor mats, rubber all weather mats and the factory Z4 branded mats. To match the blacked out look, the original kidney grills were replaced with all black grills. The originals will be included with the sale. It has rarely seen snow or rain. And washed regularly. No rust and only very minor dings/scratches that have been touched up to deter rust. It was also polished and waxed in the Spring and waxed before putting away in the Fall. Only reason for selling is I have two "seasonal vehicles" (have a motorcycle as well) and would like to slim down the toys. It will be missed, but it's time to pass it along to someone else to enjoy. I usually do not care for the black on black on black look, but your car looks amazing. Very sharp car.
