They were ACS pieces but he blended them into the bumpers instead of just tacking them on.
.....made a huge difference in overall appearance.

What about a vacuum forming / drape moulding process? Around the exhaust might be an issue but for regular body panels that might be an idea. I often get clear acrylic pieces drape moulded at work and you can create some pretty complex shapes if the material is thin enough and handled correctly

I agree inTgr8r, that was the first thing I noticed. I am betting AC Schnitzer becasue of the little logo on the bottom.

That wing is gorgeous! and the side skirts aren't too bad either. Adds a very nice extra line to the car. I'm still on the fence about the diffuser though, I like the M factory diffuser, maybe on a non-M I would do the ACS.

Thats a possibility, however the plug or parent part/donor won't like the high heat and may become damaged or warped afterwards if not built into a solid form first. It would be sacrificed in other words.

I'll see what my friend says about letting be pull molds from his ACS diffuser and associated bits.

Really not too excited about an ACS clone. (I wouldn't buy one)
I like your original idea better.

Now that you mention it, what do you have in progress? Approximate completion dates?

Looks like Cf coupe roofs completing firstly, followed by M front brake ducts and rear M diffuser.
Doors should arrive here early 2013 for development.
M hood to be developed in the interim. I feel I'll sell more hoods than door sets and I need to support this overhead.

True, true. In the past I've done a three step process where I've cast a mould over the parts in alginate or silicone, then cast a plaster plug from the alginate/silicone mould then draped over that. Mind you they were only small parts and even that it adds a lot of time and cost.

Oh yes, but then that's when the real magic starts to happen, and tasty parts are created.
