Z4M after letting off throttle, power appears to not back off immediately. Normal?

Hey guys, I do not drive the Z4M often, but I took her out recently just for a final ride before removing coilovers, and noticed that it feels like when I let off the throttle, the power remains for just a split second, as if the throttle is still depressed. Wondering if I am really feeling this, or has driving my new VF620 E92 M3 screwed up my feel for the Z. Let me know if you have some advice, thanks!

Driving two vehicles back to back can be funny. Sometimes when I go back and forth between the Z4MR and my F30 335i, it feels like the Z4 is in limp mode. Then I usually realize I was below 3k rpm in the Z4, where the F30 pulls harder. A quick blast up to the redline seems to fix it for me.

I've noticed a bit of rev hang with the Z4M if I let it climb into the rev range. I think that's normal.
