Z4MC questions
Hello,..former 2001 M Coupe owner here. - Looking into the possibility of a Z4M Coupe in my future. A couple of questions.
Like the previous M Coupe, doesn't seem to have many options which is nice. What is included in the premium package? What is extended leather? What's under the mysterious big box in the boot? How do you find viability out the back and sides? What aftermarket/accessories retailers do you like? Many thanks for any input! |

http://www.bmwz4roadster.net/brochure/ME85-ME86.pdf Extended leather is still an option even in today's BMWs, where the dash and parts of door panels are upholstered in leather. My Z4M has the carbon leather option where instead of the standard aluminum trim, the dash has leather that looks like carbon fiber. It's pretty neat. The trunk has a hidden compartment which contains the battery, tool kit and tire pump provided by factory. Visibility is like any other sports car. Not great, but not terrible either. You'll get used to the small rear windshield, and the side mirrors are ample. The Z4M shares a lot of parts with the E46 M3 so there are decent amount of aftermarket options for power, brakes, suspension etc. However, it is still a rare car so we aren't spoiled for choice like the E46 guys especially when it comes to the used parts. What are you looking for specifically? Good Luck with the search! Check out z4mcoupebuyersguide.com |

Thanks for this info, very helpful. I got spoiled by the excellent visibility out of my 2001 M Coupe. I was thinking of getting another but have shifted my attention to the Z4MC. I live in the city and need to find a secure parking spot first!

Rear visibility out of the rear quarter window is nonexistent - very difficult to back out of a parking spot.

Extended leather option wraps Whole door panel and. center console in leather. Nothing on dash with brushed aluminum trim. You will need to get used to Long front and bumper for close parkings. |
