Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have on 06 M coupe and just took off the CDV and took out the restrictor and put it all back together and started to bleed the clutch.
Pumped it twice, lifted the pedal back up got some bubbles, did it twice more and lost ALL resistance - no more fluid through the cylinder and just air . Where did the fluid go and how do I get it back up under pressure? The brake fluid/clutch fluid reservoir is full! |

Your result of "no pedal" is actually fairly easy to achieve while bleeding the clutch and happens if you allow the reservoir to get too low. Get a partner, pump and bleed and keep the reservoir full. Eventually you'll get the pedal back. I know because I've accidentally made this same mistake twice now...

THanks to all - got similar replies from Bill Henderson and I didnt realize that if the resevoir is not right to the top, the fluid will not spill over into the clutch side. Not the same as a lot of other cars, where as long as the recevoir is not empty it wont suck air!
