nav with dvd video
I want to see videos on my nav screen and was wondering if theres a dvd player that can be controlled by the car buttons.
I found this cable ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E46-E39-...item27be400a74 ) it looks like it can be connected to the tv module connection on the radio so if theres absolutely no way I can command a dvd player trough my oem button it maybe an alternate path but then I would like to know if it can be used in conjuction with a gateway 5, gateway 300 or intravee so I was wondering if it is in a different socket in the radio or if they use the same as it would be a problem. my car came with oem aux plug btw. if anyone knows a different route to see videos on the nav screen im all ears thanks guys

edit: the pc interface is called CIS-IBUS
There is software called CarX that lets you use the radio buttons to control a PC.

You can use the Intravee with the Alpine DHA-S690 6 disc DVD changer. There is limited control while playing a DVD, but full control while playing an MP3 disc. You need an AV input for the video, for example via the TV module, and the supplied Infra Red remote for navigating DVD menus etc.
