M3 (S54) - European Car - Dyno of New Fluids/Plugs, Evolve Tune, GruppeM

Here's a test from European Car Magazine on an S54 M3 on replacing all fluids and spark plugs with dyno, Evolve tune with dyno, and GruppeM intake with dyno. Also interesting that the two cars they dyno'd had such a difference in dyno numbers (on same dyno)

http://www.europeancarweb.com/tech/e..._m3/index.html

I am only posting relevant info, I didn't have anything to do with this test or the data in it.

Interesting, thanks for the link.

I would like to point out that they used Liqui Molly 10W-60 engine oil, instead of BMW recommended Castrol TWS 10W-60.
This is one of the very rare reports when a different oil has been used for the S54 engine.

I have heard only positive feedback about Liqui Moly 10W-60 oil. Some say it's superior to Castrol 10W-60. I wonder if someone else in this message board has used it for a BMW S54 engine.

HMMM. I noticed the used MTL instead of ATF (BMW recommends ATF according to Turner Motorsport's site), and they also used a much thinner differential oil (Turner recommends and even warns about the lighter gear oil).
