Considering removing my Z4 badge from the trunk (boot). Thoughts? Lame?

Never really liked the Z4 logo and now I'm considering taking it off. Thoughts? Is it considered ricey or lame?

Car is an '05. Do you think there'll be a different with paint shade on Titanium Silver under it? I've seen cars before where you can still make out the emblem outline after it's been debadged.

Yes there will be a color difference but it will blend in after a week or two of exposure.
(been there done that)

I don't see anybody accusing you of 'lame-ifying' the car for taking off a badge. When you start fiberglassing on hood scoops and a whale tail spoiler then you should worry about the image you're projecting ...

Took ALL of mine off and I felt it classed things up visually. I always felt BMW over-badged our cars.

IDK 'bout that.
....the ///M could stand a few more badges.

if I had an M, i would debage it and replace it with Z4 and 2.5 badges - just to mess with people.

You could get a supercharger and leave the standard badges

i blacked mine out with plastidip, black would also look good on silver, then if you dont like that you could just remove them...

i really need to tint that reflector though...

The blacked out badge looks good. I think taking it off all together looks good too though. And its easier and cheaper lol.

I say take it off. Some people think it's lame, but it's your car and do what you like. I took off the side M badges off of my coupe cause I felt like BMW went overkill with the badges and I love the way it looks.

I also have TiAg Z4 and removed the Z4 emblem. I think it looks much cleaner and nicer without it.

If you would switch to Blue tape it would be much more aerodynamic! No telling how much faster it would be!

I just took my Z4 of the back, it really cleans it up. Also because its a coupe people arn't really sure what kind of car it is. I once got "wow i didn't know BMW makes a supercar".

If you thin down the hamburgers you'll pick up an additional 2.3487532 mph on the front straight!
