Am I missing something?? ESS VT1-445

I got this installed last september..
but something is missing.
everyone of yours and the pictures at ESS
have black ones but I dont..
Can anyone tell me what it is?

Yeah, all of the BPVs I've seen including mine, Beedub's, Roffle Waffle's and others have a different design that includes a black "cap" over the silver part of the BPV. Perhaps there is a different model that ESS used for a time. What was the install date/location of your kits?

their valve LOOKS better under the hood.... it looks to be better made also.
maybe this is the BOV option? with the recirc section not used maybe?
