FS: 03-05 catted track pipe
$120 plus shipping. O2 sensors not included. Up for sale is my catted track pipe for the 2003-2005 Z4 with M54 engine. It is not OBD2 compliant (meaning you will get a CEL without a tune). The cats reduce the noxious fumes that result from deleting the OEM cats in the headers, but without a noticeable impact to performance. Catless headers + this s-pipe will yield about a 12-15 horsepower gain on a stock car, and significantly more on a car with forced induction. Sound-wise, the tiny cats don't make a big difference. All the burbles and pops of a catless setup are there. Fumes are reduced by 80%, so the car will sound catless but won't smell like it... which is a good thing if you don't want to risk a four digit ticket for running catless on the street. The s-pipe has dual Magnaflow cats, P/N 50004, with 10-15k miles on the cats. It has two O2 sensor bungs, which can be used as placeholders (if you get a tune that's OBD2 ready, it still requires O2 sensors to be properly connected). I have $500 in parts/labor plus my stock resonated s-pipe in this setup. Magnaflow P/N 50004 Product Info

Bump. I'll be taking this by the recycler soon to get it out of the garage.

Surprising the cats don't do enough to keep it emissions compliant. Have you tried O2 spacers? I might have a spare set you can try if they work.

Thanks for the offer. I didn't try spacers or a tune... I ended up buying a Supersprint s-pipe since it's slightly larger in diameter to support more flow.
The cats probably aren't too far off from passing emissions, since they are 400 cell and pretty far upstream.
