My new Z4 M - Help fitting ZCPs with PS2s!

Hey peeps!

I'm just about to pick up my Interlagos Blue Z4 M Coupe and want to order a set of ZCPs and PS2s to go with it.

I'm in Sydney Australia so have found a local person with PS2s:

255-35-19

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2-X-New-255-3...item53e07345e8

New-225-40-19

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2-X-New-225-4...item439e5709dc

And of course Tuner Motorsport is the cheapest place to go that I know of for the ZCPs:

http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...D=M3COMPWHEELS

My questions are:

1. Will these tyres fit the ZCPs well?
2. Will the ZCPs fit my Z4MC well or do they need spacers?

Cheers guys!

Saxon.

your tyre choice will fit but will offer no protection for the alloy at all, im on genuiine csl wheels with the wider 8.5 front, as apposed to your 8" wheel on the front, both wheels fit fine but the 8" front can sit quite far in the front arch, but the wheels do fit and look awesome, if you can get gen CSLs go for those as they are literally bolt on and drive.

as for tyres i went with PS2 in the orginal csl sizes which is 235/35/19 265/30/19. The car really handles and rides nicely with setup, alot of people run wider rubber but i personally prefur the csl sizes, hey after all if its good enough for the track orientated CSL then its good enough for the road biased z4m.

btw these wheels look the business on the z4m.

Ok great.

And are you running spacers at all?

And, will BMW offer driveline/suspension warranty on spacers if so? I would suspect not...

I run a 15mm spacer on the front but it is pretty aggressive. A 10mm would be perfect with out having to worry about rubbing issues. The rear sits perfect with the 285 so there is no need for the spacer. When I was on 275s I was thinking of getting a 5mm spacer. The 285s are not ideal for handling but these are my street wheels so I don't mind giving up a tiny bit of handling for some look. I never get any where near the limits of my car anyways on the street

If your BMW dealer is going to throw a fit about spacers I would go to a different dealer. There is no way a spacer is going to hurt your suspension. Hell I have no problem at all with warrenty work on my car and I have a bunch of mods. Maybe things are a bit different with dealers down under...
