Stickers, decals and logos oh my
I know some hate adding brand stickers and logos and other such stuff on their cars - actually my car has black and silver/CF roundels but only one M badge.
Does it look tacky or weird to have this on the back of the car?

Definitely not tacky or weird when you have the goods to back it up.
My personal preference would be the sleeper look, but that's just me.

I prefer badgeless or near badgeless. My car only has one smaller than stock ///M on the lower right corner of the trunk. I don't think the ESS decal would be tacky though. As inTgr8r said, you've got the goods to back it up and there's not a thing in the world wrong with being proud of your mods.

Doesn't bother me. But my rule of thumb is: Pay me and I'll promote your company. Or I'll promote your company if you give me free parts and/or labour

in line with what he other have said, I'd have gone with a "supercharged" emblem instead of the ESS, since you paid for the goods (unless they did give you a deal / sponsorship)

As far as badges go.. those aren't bad. They are clean and simple. If I HAD to have badging; I would choose the ESS. I do not like the combo ///M & ESS, as they have different finish and style. They are close.. but to me is almost worse; like two bad shades of green. I'd prolly prefer the ESS over the ///M. The M is common (though your white is nice), where the ESS may make people think. It's your car.. make it suit your tastes.
I removed ///M badges from my car - only leaving roundels. I'd remove those too; if there was clean sheet metal below. ;-) |
