Hey Guys, Getting rid of the car, so it time to part her out. Although they are still on the car, I figured I'd start the for sale ad, since I can remove them anytime, plus if you're local you could take a ride/drive to be sure you like what you are getting. These are the 3 way adjustable V3 setup ...and can drop the car 2"+ if you want. I'm pretty low at ~1.25" drop, but there is surely more room to go if you wanted. Comfort is excellent, better than stock in my opinion and handles the LA freeways great. I also have the Rogue Engineering RSMs that I'll include with these. They've got a little over 6,000 miles on them now, driven mostly on weekends on trips up and down the coast. I honestly don't know if they ever even seen rain. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Jim These were something like $2500 new, so let's say $1450. Pic 1 & 2 - To show the stance Pic 3 - Compared to stock w/ Z4MR & MC Pic 4 - Stance Again Pic 5 - To show you the coilovers Pic 6 - well .. I don't think anyone here would mind more pics! Max drop is ~3/8" more than you see here, which would be ~2.1ish.
Lost my settings ... cfine feel free to chime in with where you have them now. |

When I got the kit from Jim, front and rear struts were set to 10 (10 out of 18 possible) clicks towrd the softest setting. All I can say is wow, made my Z4MC ride like a cadilac. I was used to the handleing performance of my GC kit, so I have the front adjusted to 3 clicks from all the way firm and the rears adjusted to 4 clicks from all the way firm. This is a good balance for me. Handles like a monster, but still very comfortable. As for ride height, I have zero gap in front and 1/4" lower than the top of the tires in the rear. I like how she looks very low. how that helps.

I always thought coilovers would firm up your ride. The KWV3's actually softened up your ride cause of the settings? As in, it is more comfortable now than stock? or is it just more comfortable than your GC setup?

Kinda hard to explain, but they are more comfortable than stock, while greatley improveing handleing at the same time. My GC kit was also comfortable and way superior to the stock set-up.
