Hello Z4 Family
I just picked up my 'new to me' 2006 Z4 with only 4056 miles on it....sweet ride...can't wait to get on the road and just drive!!
Also order my new plate.... FAB-4..I actually bought it as I am a huge Beatles fan...but it works!! Anyone else located in Saskatchewan here? |

Welcome to the club! I'm also a huge beatles fan and love your plate (wish I'd thought of that). I'm from Alberta but regularly drive to Regina to visit relatives. Maybe will pass by each other one day.
Cheers |

..although in Sask...Fab4 and Fab-4 are now gone.. Mine is actually a 'Rider" plate....so with Darian Durant as our QB....it fits nicely in with the Rider logo. Not planned...but works...so three ways of stating the use of "4"...Z4, Beatles, and Rider QB |

Hi
I live in Saskatoon and have a 05 Z4 3.0I. Fantastic car and a blast to drive - you should enjoy yours a lot. Saskatchewan roads and the City streets are not the best due to the very firm suspension and run flat tires. |

Can't think of much on the same theme other than MOP TOP. Here's a thread with a bunch of ideas though. http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthre...ighlight=plate

Yes, MOP TOP...kinda works....although I am "follicularly challenged". I do have some other ideas....all Beatles related... but lending it to be after an album name.

I am new to the Forum. Just purchased a previously owned BMW certified 2004 Z4, low klicks, black on black. My Ontario plates are 2crazy4u. Drove it from Toronto to Timmins and truly enjoyed the ride - had a 289 68 Mustang, 69 Javelin 343 SST, 79 L82 Vette - this is by far the most fun car to drive. Already put away for winter.

Seeing these posts reminds me how much I miss driving my 2004 Z4. It is in storage for the winter. Cost me a bit this year. New tires - after 40,000km the Bridgestone Potenzas were not giving me much traction on rainy days. Put Michelin Sport SP runflats on. Much more comfortable ride and traction. Replaced the water pump and battery. In all after 6 years it is not too bad. I also added the headlamp washers and alarm system (should probably have done that in the beginning but no harm done).

HTZ-004, which I think is kinda neat! But as RBull says, Canadian winters sure are a drag when you have a Z4 and its in storage waiting for spring, as mine is. I'm keeping sane watching Youtube Z4 videos and buying dumb Z4 stuff like posters for the garage I may build this summer. Cheers!

The run flats are very twitchy - the steering wheel pulls and the car wants to run into road ruts and may seem like its about to jump into the oncoming lane of traffic. I put Hankook V12's (a conventional tire) on my car and the improvement in the car is astounding. A much smoother, quieter and steadier ride.
