Over the years, I've had several daily drivers but my fun car remains the same. The most recent daily driver is a Model 3 in black just like my roadster.

I'm on the weekend only camp.. My Z4MR is dedicated for weekend motoring only. To.me is what keeps it special.... My daily is a infiniti Q50... That lease will be up summer '19.
Im debating about purchasing a mid side truck or maybe even a BMW i3. We also have a X5 for family duty. The z4m is my little chill pill |

Now that I'm repurposed (aka retired) I take the beloved Red Roadster out about once a week to two....it's garaged and kept all cleaned up. I love taking a drive in the local Seattle area mountains.

Welcome to the club Mine is still a daily driver, although since I'm not commuting to the office anymore, my annual miles has dropped drastically.

Mileage....
....is down to 1,200 miles annually; the Red Roadster hasn't seen rain since I repurposed (aka retired) in Jun 2017....I watch the weather and get out for a rip about every 1.5 weeks....no battery tender necessary.
I stopped washing the Red Roadster about 3 yrs ago and use Meguiars Waterless Wash & Wax: https://www.amazon.com/MEGUIARS-G362...a-786386068026 The Red Roadster is never very dirty....ZERO scratches or issues with this awesome product. It also eliminates water in places that are a real problem with convertibles, I found a product to prevent rotors from rusting up when washing the car (which then is scraped off when you apply the brakes and it coats your newly cleaned rims with rust: https://www.autopia-carcare.com/hyde...l#.XhpKsNNKjBI

Mine is intended to be a fun/weekend car, but I will drive it every day for a week when the weather is extra nice. I live in a small town and work in a rural area, so I can have fun on my commute. I would have no problem driving the Z every day, but my daily is a tuned GTI and I miss driving that after about 3-5 days also. When the weather is bad I drive the GTI, otherwise I end up driving them both about the same amount.
