Not mine, but maybe you can get someone to part with one of the other 56 that were made ): The best color combination in my opinion, but I am biased. There are three being advertised on AutoTrader right now. One is at Tischer BMW and has a CPO warranty. I think that is the one I would go for.

Yep, the car was manufactured in Spartanburg, South Carolina manufacturing facility, though the complete M engine was imported from Germany.

BMW - you've heard some of the acronyms, like Big Money Worries, Break My Window, Brings Me Women, etc.

Down in South Carolina, they have a local one - "Bubba Makes Wheels"

Those are nice looking seats. If you insist on changing seats, allow me to suggest the VAC Motorsport racing seat mounts which are generally considered to be the best available. A problem often encountered in changing seats with the Z4 is the narrow cabin. Some seats will not fit. You also will encounter some problems with the seat belt unfastened alarm and the airbag fault warning. Both of these can be dealt with but the solutions are not simple. Also, the factory seats, belts, and airbags have been crash tested for occupant safety. Anecdotes from drivers who have wrecked Z4MCs suggest that they perform well in a serious crash. Whether your seats and belts that you install are safe will become your responsibility.

at over 2000 dollars per seat. i can only assume that they're safe enough

Assuming of safety by price is a pretty stupid thing to do IMO. There are a lot of expensive things that are not safe.

These racing seats are not made for the Z4 as far as I know so the function may be greatly reduced based on several different factors!

Please do not disrespect someone who is trying to give you advice and guidance developed over many years of working on numerous modified street and race BMWs. It doesn't matter what the seat costs. The main point was that you are taking the responsibility for a safe installation into your own hands, or you must pay a professional who is experienced in such modifications. Even then, since it's basically a "one off" project, the quality of the final result is undetermined at this point.

Another piece of advice that is meant to be helpful - it is known that the Recaro Pole Position race seat will work in the Z4 coupe. If this is a seat that you fit into and find comfortable, it would be an excellent choice.
