Homemade windscreen

Did this little DIY today. Turned out much better than expected! Looks like a factory part.

I have enough material for 3 maybe 4 more. (huge piece of lexan)

If anyone is interested I can make some more, I kept the template.

Since I can make 3 more, I am going to set the price at 125+shipping. I bought alot more material than I needed. We will see how this goes.

It is 1/4 LEXAN, super clear. I have the prototype on my roadster right now, no rattle, squeaks, flexing. Really cuts down on the wind and noise.

I, too, would want the small inserts.

Is it possible to see a picture of the finish on the edges?

I dont think it will work with leather roll bars. It attaches the same way as the bavauto part.

I will post some close up pictures

is it because the Leather roll bars don't come apart? The smaller seam? I haven't really been able to figure out exactly WHY it wouldn't work.

the clips that hold the glass in place attach via 3m tape. Im not sure that it would stick to the leather.

Hopefully this weekend I will be able to get back in the garage and make the roll bar inserts. I will post pictures when done.
