^ Good point. I think the side skirts will be the finisher mod, after everything else.

Thanks guys!
I've ordered a black silicone coupler to replace the blue one that came from GruppeM, The blue just doesn't go with anything, and I was thinking about red but I think that black will go better

If you want to do the same thing before yours comes you want a 4 inch i.d silicone coupler 2 inches long The one I ordered is longer so I'll be trimming it, If it ends up being 4 inches long lemme know if you want the other half

I'm not sure if it will do anything other than look good
I think its meant for outside wrapping and not for inside, But its only $20 and I might just do it "just because"

Well after pondering I decided what the hell and ordered a roll of the gold foil along with a more replacement valve stems for my flush mount tire valves
Valve stems I used (bought 2 replacement stems) and a roll of gold foil Will look good inside the intake I think,

Thanks for the compliments guys,
Here is that gold wrap installed, It was actually very very difficult to work with, Even though its so thin, it doesn't really "wrap" around anything, and its incredibly difficult to get smooth, with the contoured unfinished raw fiber on the inside of the GruppeM intake this was the best I could do, Will it actually do anything? Who knows, It is supposed to repel heat, But it is more of a wrap rather than a barrier I'd think, Over last weekend it was quite nice in NJ, Up in the 70's, I did put my hand inside the GruppeM box to feel it and it was warm, Mostly towards the engine side, the fender side was cool to the touch, also the K&N filter was also cool to the touch, I shall test this gold foil again once the weather gets nice, But anyway if it works then great, if not, then it still looks cool and I like it Add's a little bit of exotic under the hood! Also pictured is the new black silicone coupler to replace the blue one Ok finally! On to pics and then installed in the engine bay, It was overcast today so the gold didn't really show up very well on camera, It looked much better in person

I like the subtle hint of gold under the hood. The Black coupler looks good too.
