Throwing Code - Euro headers

P114D is what the shop diag is indicating i.e. O2 sensor post cat bank2 reading lean.

I had done the install, other than o2 relocation, and quite possibly could have swapped sensor banks (i'm doubting myself). Could that be the cause to trigger a code indicating only one side?

Feedback most welcome.

Bill

Haven't done this myself yet, but from what I recall, yes, could be sensors swapped, a banged up sensor, loose sensor, or could be a leak at the header itself. I seem to recall someone, maybe it was Roffle, who had some perplexing codes and it turned out to be simple leak.

I'm sure someone else will offer better ideas shortly.

Thanks Finnegan. Did some more searching... if it was a swap it looks like the car would throw 2 codes, 1 for each bank...

Here is a thread that is linked the CEL to the MAF!! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=682378

More context: on initial start after the install I foolishly did not connect the air pump hose fully, thus a loud vacum noise. But no code was thrown then.

You have an exhaust leak in your welds where you relocated the bungs. I had this problem and the only way to find the leak was to pressurize the pipe by stuffing the ends with rags and using an air gun. Spray soapy water around your welds and the pinholes will show up. I kept getting this code and my leaks were microscopic!

Yuck

Hope this is not the case, but looks like I need to tear things apart again to be inspected.

That was me. Frustrating as hell, but as Kenny said... you could have a leak somewhere. Simple once u find it

Think we resolve this.

Seems like the J-Style bungs are too long and reading super lean e.g. 0.04 instead of reading 0.4.

Cut them down and buttoned everything up again and seems good. so far

Have to say that they do make the engine lively and more responsive. The responsiveness above 5k is very good as well.
