CDV delete vs modification

I've read pretty much everyone here has done the CDV delete. I'm wondering what's the difference between that and replacing it with a modified one like this:
http://www.zeckhausen.com/cdv.htm#For Sale

Is the modified CDV worth $95?

The only reason people get the modified is for when you are still under warranty with BMW. If you are out of warranty which at this point I think we all are, just delete the CDV and save yourself 100.

Thanks, I was reading everything I could find and didn't find any advantage of having the modified CDV. Didn't think about the warranty aspect of it; makes sense.

Do they make a non-rubber clutch line for the non-M? R.E. only makes one for the Z4 M.

I bought the Zeckhausen because I was afraid the hose wouldn't reach, or the fittings wouldn't mate.
Turns out there was more than enough slack and the fittings are identical.

Did he order the one for the Z4 M or was it a special order that I need to call them to buy?

i have no idea but will find out tomorrow, he's over for a few beers, ill grab a pic too.

then again why would it be diff to the z4m one anyway?? they share the same gearbox / drivetrain dimensions. Wouldnt surprise me if they are identical items!

all was ordered through CA automotive.
