BMS vs Rogue cans

So I managed to get my hands on a set of BMS cans (which are really the Magnaflows). After the install took the car for a spin and was so surprised at how similar they sound to Rogue El Diablos. Is there anybody else out there who has had the opportunity to hear both and can comment on this? I thought BMS mufflers were supposed to be much louder...

I cant answer you with confidence as I only drove the car for maybe like 10 minutes and didnt pay much attention to drone. I will def get back to you throughout the week

That's great that they sound similar to diablos at a fraction of the cost. Got any pictures?

I had BMS with X-Pipe installed before. It is louder than Diablo and drone around 23k and 28k if I recall. That is my impression after hearing Diablo in person at NorCal exhaust fest.

All the reading on forums drone only happens on lower RPM range. If you are talking about exhaust note at high RPM is different.

I guess I should have mentioned I am running rogue xpipes as well. but either way my impressions so far are less drone on bms and maybe minimal sound loss.

I wasn't sure if you were referring to exhaust notes or drone. Damn it was too early and forgot the decimal.

Had this setup with standard US headers. Drone from 2300-2800 is spot on. Buzzier and louder than just Diablo mufflers. Diablos are slightly more bassy/grunty as well.

shakib - Glad you like the BMS cans and thanks for making me feel like even a greater wimp

I love the Remus cans on the car - just a little louder than stock at part throttle, no drone at hwy cruising speeds and sounds great under load. But, I think they will be too quiet for you
