I am curious about this vehicle, and wondering what the community's thoughts are. Specifically on if the car was a member's, if the price is too high (thus its been online for a while), etc.?

That's a VERY desirable combination.

Alpine white with Imola Red interior is amazing there is a guy in Huntsville that I met once that had that combo and I loved it.

That price is alittle steep IMO, even with that combination.

It might be the nice weather, but last year at this EXACT time, I paid $7k less for a car that had 22k miles on it.

Price is fine, probably could ask for more. That is probably one of the most desirable color combination. Sure it will be gone shortly.

That argument can be made with any M Coupe.

Alpine White, Imola Red Interior, CF Trim...35 total

Imola Rot, Black Interior, Aluminum...43 Total.

Desirable..sure.

Rare? Not as much people want to think. All combos are "rare"

Beautiful car... I tried pulling the trigger on a Z4M Roadster with the same color combo but the dealer wouldn't even let me test drive it. They sent it out to auction the following day. Apparently, the car had issues. I ended up getting the car I have now.

If I had known then that I can't take a roadster out to the track, I would've held out for one of these coupes.

Price is dictated by market. If someone was waiting for this color combo for awhile and is willing to pay this price, then the dealer gets what he wants. It only takes one person to justify the price.

If it sits for a few weeks and someone tries to lowball the guy, dealer may bite. But if you really want this color combo, will you be willing to risk losing this beauty? I wanted this color combo bad and I had a tough time finding it so I bit on a SI. I probably should've waited longer but I got impatient.

As far as rarity goes, I don't know much about cars and car collecting so who knows if these cars M Coupes will even be collectibles in the future that people would just want to store in their garages.

This car looks like the one that sold out of Oregon a couple of weeks ago for a list price of 32k. For such a rare combo I've seen 3 in the last 2 months. It could be a dealer trying to make a quick buck.

Actually Sapphire Black Metallic on black with Madera wood is a pretty rare combination. There were alot of different combinations and so few cars so most combinations are pretty limited numbers

bump up for an awesome seller. I know the guy, top notch! As for the price, he usually doesnt mark up his cars by a ton. I bought my 07 coupe in 2010 from him with 36K miles and mint cond for 29 from him

Nah, that's not weird... that's called self control in trying to stay within budget and getting a good deal. Besides, you still got an awesome color.

That's how these sales people get us. They can smell it when they know you want something bad. In my case, a alpine white with red. I tried holding out but I didn't do such a good job. I settled for an Si when I really wanted an M. But that's ok, with all these problems popping up with broken tabs with the Vanos pump, I'm almost glad I didn't get an M.

It looks like the M Coupe has a strong following on web. I'm sure it will be. Going back to the OP's original question...

I'd go for it. Great color combo. It looks to be in great shape and the mileage is decent. But not at 35k. I'd try to haggle a bit and offer 30K. Never settle for the first price they offer you. Good luck and let us know if you buy it.
