^Hey now...my 98 Integra was one of the more fun cars I have owned (and I've owned some fun cars) and hands down the most reliable, even after all the mods I did to it!

Oh, I'm not saying I disliked the car. My 95 was a great car, 8K redline, super reliable and a lot of fun. Just that the engine always did remind me of a sewing machine my mom had when I was a kid (kind of a precision mechanical sound. I wish I hadn't sold it as it was a great DD (and still fun to rev the hell out of). I see the guy I sold it to all the and he's having a blast with it even though it's now over 210K miles. Still running strong!

Well the Stromungs are on but I am not sure how long they will remain on. They are a lot louder than the oem exhaust. My wife is not too happy with the sound. It is way loud inside the car with the windows up. All it takes is a light touch on the gas and the radio music is gone.

I'm surprise to hear that. Thought Stromung was one of the quieter exhaust after Remus
Did you buy it new? If memory served me, someone got a "special made" Stromung by mistake a while back, which made it a lot louder than other standard Stromungs. May be you got one of those "special" model? Last edited by XMetal; 07-04-2012 at 12:16 PM.. |

I have the Stromung and I love them and I'm and old poop. If you have a lot of hills or need to be "on the gas" a lot the do let you know they are there.

I went with the Supersprint powerloop exhaust and center pipe. I believe it's about 30% louder than stock is what they advertise it at. Great deep rumble at idle but not too loud on the street. Also when you release your foot off the gas it sort of gurgles (can't think of a better word lol), love the sound. They might be up there in price but the quality is second to none.
