Mine too, is far from a collector and that's the way I want it. Otherwise, I would feel guilty every time I take her out, which is a shame.

They got everything right minus the comment on shared front suspension (e36 not e46).

I would say that the front suspension on the Z4 M is neither E36 nor E46, it's a hybrid of both.

Resurecting an old thread just for a point of perspective.

Was at a local Z car meet today. There was a Z1, roadster and coupe Z3s or both M and non-M, E85 M and non-M, 1 E86 (my M), a bunch of E89s and G29s, and a E52 - Z8.

Now I don't dispute the Z8 is much more valuable in today's market but on numbers alone for rarity, it's not even close. My M coupe was by far the rarest bird there.

It's only a matter of time and people will figure this out.
