Another old guy here. 51. Laser Physics geek.
The Z4C would be a midlife crisis car, but I've been buying hardtop sportscars (and driving them into the ground) my whole life: 240Z (driven for 10 years and 150K miles in my 20's-30's) MR2 (driven for 9 years and 180K miles in my mid-30's to mid-40's) Z4C (driven 4+ years, 87K miles so far)..... notice a trend? |

Glad to see I am in a nice age groupe. I am 48 and design roadways and bridges for the State of Texas, BMWCCA Driving Instructor, Street Survival Instructor, College and High School baseball umpire, and started my own photography business about 6 months ago. BUSY is an understatement!

I should have setup a poll...here's some results - out of 52 people who responded, here's our age group...pretty diverse I must say!
The folks in the 30's probably are the lowest as they are starting families, less reason to have a two seater. But once people start approaching their mid-life crisis in the 40's, numbers go up lol. 20's are high due to disposable income and such. Lots of generalizations...but fun to see! |

Financial Auditor for a big (the biggest) battery manufacturer. Don't like the life though so I suspect I'll end up back in school to try for a start in another direction. Some pretty cool posts so far. Hello Klipsch haha

Reliability in the Z4 has been almost embarrassingly good so far. I've done regular oil changes every 7500 miles, replaced the shocks at 70K and the brake pads at 80K miles. Nothing else and it runs great. |

I bought my Z4C due to the 240-Z similarities. My green 73' is turbocharged w/coil-overs and leather comforts etc. They are a good match of old vs. new. |

Who needs boat parts?
Cool thread
25 , I work 60+ hours a week Mon-Saturday 9-6 I run NuwaveMarine.com Repowermyboat.com Nuwaveparts.com MercExhaust.com If you have a MerCruiser powered boat and have bought parts online , theres a good chance you have run into me... Got into it via my dad who has been a boat mechanic for 30 some years.. im to lazy to turn wrenches, so I turned to the Internet. We are also getting into manufacturing a 20ft speed boat.. but it has been on the back burner while we build up the online business.. (Coast Guard testing and insurance is a bit expensive) My dad designed and built the prototype 100% by hand. Nights and weekends I am a musician. I host a local open mic tuesday night, Book and organize original band shows on thursday nights and play acoustic covers with my band Sly walrus and the Johnsons on the weekend nights https://www.facebook.com/slywalrusband Come get drunk with us some time. My baby.. 07 Z4MC |

Oh, and to make up for the earlier threadjacking...
45 Artist who used to be a legal analyst and intellectual property/licensing contract negotiator Over the last few years, Finnegan and I developed our obsession together, which was convenient, since we were already married. I've seen differences of opinions over car-love break up a few relationships.

28 in August. I'm in the Air Force as a comm guy...WIRE DAWGS! installation and maintenance along with phone switch is my forte, but my 'job' entails pretty much everything from computer hardware/software, progamming/maintaining switches and routers, phones/cables, aircraft maintenance...pretty much a jack of all trades, master of none except phones/cabling. I love this job!
first Bimmer, but i've been in love with them since I was 'little' and saw a brand new E36-series 328. Just something about that particualr car pulled me in. finally got one of my own (BMW) after a few deployments and years of saving up.
