I want to see a confession thread about dickhead things we did as kids or teens... Like stealing your mom's car while she's at work in Boston and driving to Daytona with another knucklehead 16 y.o.

Whatever I got from my kids is payback...

Reminds me of my brother and his friends back in the 80's. They got drunk one night in MA and decided to go to an upcoming music festival in LA, so they just pointed the car west and drove non-stop until they got there. They stole security t-shirts from the showers to get into the concert.

My daughter is about to turn 4. We're living in an apartment until our house is finished. My off white carpets are trashed, play-doh, paint - you name it. Every window shade is broken. She cracked the tile in 3 places around the fireplace when she decided my laptop was in her barbie's way. My 60" has a nice gouge in it where she ran the laptop charger plug across it trying to plug it in for me. She cracked my recliner from doing pull-ups on the back. Last week she jammed 3 dvds in my PS4 because the little mermaid wouldn't eject. She flushed 4 pairs of her underwear down the toilet because they were old. The thermostat cover is missing and every time she walks by she turns the heat on. A month ago she ran full speed into an open cabinet door ripping it clean off.

I'm well aware I'm losing my security deposit.

What's really sad is that my sibs and I caused more damage to my parents' house as teenagers than we did as toddlers. Parties can be costly.

It was 1980, and I beat your brother's story by a wide margin... Idiotic times.

Yeah I was driving around at 14, wtf?

One of our young bucks got caught 110 in a 55 on a business trip and was bragging about it this week. So I said I got caught 155 in a 55 and I was actually surprised by their reaction, like I had suddenly no longer looked like an old f*** in the office...

The stuff I did when 19-24 could put a person away for life. My son had better not do any of that. suddenly a broken blu ray seems like nothing when I think about it...

My friend's brother just last month told us about a crazy story when they were 17 and went to Martha's Vineyard....older stories always involve jail....kids today imho won't get that type of lesson, times have changed. In our time, parents said let them spend a few days there and see if they shape up..

Seriously. Lots of stuff I did as a kid would land a person in jail these days. And loss of license. Or worse. I think one thing that saved my ass as a kid was that my car was a '67 Dodge Dart with a straight six and three-on-the-tree. It couldn't get out of its own way. I can't imagine how dangerous a powerful car would have been in my hands back then.

Speaking of stupid shit I did when I was young, my dad got me a mini 14 for my high school graduation. He was a gun guy that's what he did. So what did my friends and I do?we drove way back into the woods on a dirt road found an old abandoned trailer and made it into Swiss cheese. At least I hope it was abandoned. Didn't hear anything about it in the news the next day..

As a 17 yo I created Risky Business II when my folks went away on vacation. We had all forgotten it (the only time in my life my dad biatch slapped me and disowned me for 6 weeks), until my bro incorporated it into his best man speech at my wedding....

Yep...

Back before the 90's, it was common to have a beer between your legs while driving. If cops caught you and cared, they would just take the rest of your beers for themselves, or make you break the bottles and clean up the glass.

Did faaaar worse an that though. Never hurt anybody.

Once drove from MD to FL just for the weekend. We were drinking beer and throwing the bottles at highway signs. Never hit one. Dumbass.

Fortunately my son hasn't destroyed anything.

Me on the other hand...

When I was a toddler though, I did flush a potato down the toilet. Don't recall what my mom and dad did to me afterwards so i assume the that this amnesia was related to the punishment
