Added some Alcantara to my life...

BMW Performance Shift Knob P/N 25110429269 with black alcantara / grey stitching shift boot from Top Gaiters U.K.

It's not as heavy as I thought it be but I like the feel of it and the shifting is more precise over the stock knob IMO.

Added some more Alcantara! Leather Z center console. Now I don't have to dislocate my arm every time I reach for my sunglasses lol.

Review:
Easy to install.

While shifting, I only had to raise my elbow just slightly but other than that it still feels the same when I didn't have the center console. So I approve with short shifters

Wow, both of those look very nice!

Can't tell if you have extended leather or not but if you don't, check out their side arm rests. Big improvement over the plastic armrest portion on the door.

I don't have the extended leather, but I'll look into the side arm rests since I use that often when cruising. Add some more Alcantara to my life lol

I love my LeatherZ armrest. It's so nice for tossing my wallet in there and spare change. You are right about the difficulty of getting into it though, but it's better that doing a 180 in your seat to get into the center colsole between and behind the seats
