Pagid RS29 pads - wow
Today I installed and experienced top shelf racing pads for the first time. After install I took a 15 min test drive to bed. The stopping power is unlike anything I've ever felt -- even cold. Three months ago I had the rotors resurfaced and they still had the crosshatch yesterday. Today after the bedding... wiped clean! Now I know why they say "not for street use". I thought it was for weak cold performance. Track day tomorrow at Homestead

whats the problem with street use? They eat the rotors way too fast? Aren't you a lot more rough on the brakes on a track compared to street?

Yes but you're using them a short period of time at the track as opposed to much more use on the street. you'd go through rotors in no time.

With track pads you can't keep them bedded in on the street, the temps are too cool.
On the street they will just grind everything off of the rotors. When I leave the track with them, they are nice & quiet and by the time I get home they are squealing like a stuck pig. (Not RS29s) IIRC the padgid yellows are more of an enduro pad?

I've been running these for the last couple of years, rs19 on my e39 m5 before these came out. Only issue I've had is a bit of noise now and then. Re-bed and all is good. My favorite pads so far, must be great in fixed calipers.

I daily drive with them. Have them with Stoptech's BBK front-rear. Love them. Used to do a lot of track-days hence why I wanted something good but not for the last 2 years now. Still, they work great as a street pad...

how are you guys finding the paint on your wheels with these pads?? After a track day i panic as they really bake on compared to other pads, it doesn't seem corrosive like some i can mention however.....
