Sway Bar Bushings
So......ordering some FCAB and figured while I was under there, I might as well get the sway bar bushing too since I know I will eventually anyway and might as well do it now.
Am I right in assuming a 2004 3.0i with sport suspension needs the 24mm bushings just like any other non-M car?? I assumed it did, but was not sure if the sport package changed anything?

Realoem says 24mm for non m and 25 mm for m models
No differentiation for sports

Crap - did not think to look there. I will remember someday. Thanks for teaching a man to fish and giving him fish. I keep reading that cars with the sport package came with the M suspension and I guess I can't get that out of my head.
Thank you!

So this looks like it says "for cars with M suspension". And for the record Were there were NO non-M cars with a M suspension? I have read in several places that the sport package cars had the M suspension along with the 18" wheels. That all might be internet poo-poo, but does that mean there were three different suspensions available in 2004? Plain, Sport, and M? I only see 2 listed here and it seems like it would say "M" cars, not "cars with M suspension?" Maybe I am reading too much into that? Bushings are listed the same way though, which has me 2nd guessing.

OK - so for the record and for anyone else that is searching later - I checked with getbmwparts.com and gave them my vin and the Sport Package DOES come with the M suspension and requires the larger bushings.
Now I have to find out if ours have the offset control arm bushings as well............ Edit - just did and in 2004 anyway - they do not mention a difference in the control arm bushings. The offsets must have been a different year.
