tranmission leak?
Just got my car back from its annual oil change, the dealership noticed and noted that they "found oil at the rear of the transmission". Very vague. Service rep had nothing else to tell me. Also mentioned that the only way they'd find the source of the issue is to do the diagnostic test which involves cleaning off and using a dye to determine source of the oil.
So, is this a fishing expedition by the stealership? Or have any other 2003/2004 E85 owners out there had a similar issue? I'm inclined to clean it myself and wait and see. No oil marks underneath the car in my garage. It had been stored in the same spot from Nov until last month (so 6 months)

that's the thing, they couldn't even tell me that... very odd commentary on the inspection sheet they fill out that comes with the oil change

Check if leaking from top rear of transmission. Maybe selector shaft seal. Number 8 on realoem.
