Oil pan bolts missing

Was tracking down an oil leak and it turned out 3 oil pan bolts were missing. I recommend people check and tighten these when they're in that area. I think the same person torquing the engine support bolts also torqued the oil pan bolts.

2007 Z4MC 47K miles.

I might have a torque wrench or adapter with 10nm setting. Another thing to do when I replace my engine mounts.

Thanks for the heads up.

I don't have a small torque wrench. I just use what feels right. I priced a good smaller one and they are pricey!

Crap, I should have checked mine when I installed my motor mounts. I still need to get in there for a power steering hose replacement. Blue loc-tite might be in order for those bolts.

Right above power steering hose. I tighten the ones I can get to. There were 2 or 3 bolts loose. I replaced my with matching bolts, not OEM since it was late Saturday.

Number 10 is part number 07119904527. I just got them at an auto parts store since there is nothing special about them. Most are M6X20 class 8.8. Realoem says three of them are a tad longer at M6X25 (Number 9, part number 07119905400)but it does not say which ones on the pan are the longer ones. Mine were missing on the driver side front. One was missing above the support cross member thingy and was really hard to get to. It took a long time to wedge my fingers in there to get the new one in place. For the washers I ended up getting a class 10.9 only because the class 8.8 at the parts store had too big of a circumference to fit.
