I would definetely go with some stickier radials... with some better tires you should be able to launch higher without much wheel spin, I don't think a 2k - 2.5k launch is unreasonable. You could also launch higher on your street tires with proper clutch slippage. It also comes with experience, my times went up alot from when i started drag racing in my last car.

I'm not as concerned with a low ET as I am with a good speed at the end. If I was hitting 118mph all day, I'd know I'm making the proper power, and then I could work on the launch and worry about getting into the 11s.

If I can get consistent 2.0 launches on street tires, that should be good enough for decent runs. With lower tire pressures I might be able to go under 2.0 on my next time out.

I have no room to store a set of dedicated track wheels in my new place

your 1/8th and 1/4 mile traps seem low for 500hp compared to my 75 shot, especially for your high 60' times. I'd assume traps in mid 90's in the 1/8th and 120 in the 1/4. Go on dragtimes.com and get your da for the day to see it more clearly.

your re-11 should be good for 2.0 60's....skip the water box, drop down to 20-23psi to avoid wheel hop, and do a quick burn on dry asphalt before you line it up(no brake application, 1st gear drop) oh yeah, open the hood in the pits, and avoid hot lapping
what do you mean by this? the elevation?

Well, I figured it out. A little bit of meth injection, 22psi in the rear, 66* ambient air temperature (vs 85 before), some more clutch slippage with a higher RPM launch, 500rpm shortshift on the 1-2 change, and a good combination of everything working together allowed me to launch like a beast in just 1.863 seconds for the first 60 feet
