Single Tip Question
Looking for opinions, pictures, experience from folks on a possible exhaust delete idea. I loved the Dinan single tip mufflers on the Z3 (Dinan part no. D660-3670). The S3 package was so clean looking with that single pipe exit. It would be easy to build a muffler delete straight pipe for my M Coupe and run it straight out with no tips. Possibly ceramic coated black. They would be easy to swap out and would weigh nothing. Obviously it would be crazy loud but how do you think it would look? I would love to see an example if someone has one. Perhaps a nice clean 3" pipe in black. Thoughts?

The only singles I can find pictures of are the wide oval type. Will likely pull the mufflers and test fit a few pipes to see what it looks like before actually fabbing anything.

Yeah the Z3s back end made the single tip work because the rear mufflers were round and the quad tips were tiny. To fill out the rear in a Z4 you would need giant cannons for tips and by then they would be sitting too low anyways. You're basically stuck going oval if you want one tip.
