How do i remove headlight bulb from the part with the wires that it plugs in to.

I followed all instructions on replacing the headlight bulb. I removed the access panel, etc...

I pull the old bulb from the actual headlight assembly and I got to the part where I remove the bulb from the part with the wires. The manual says to simply turn counter clockwise but that doesn't seem to do anything. Plus there are 2 metal tabs holding the bulb in place. I didn't want to break anything so I thought I should ask.

How do I get the bulb from the part it plugs in to (the part with the wires)?

Thanks
