funny how a thread like this brings out every-ones memories.....

chris as you know im unfortunately a single father to a 9 month old baby boy.... being 26 this has probably been the single most hard thing ive ever done, many nights ive cried, many nights ive wanted to give up... then a smile from him makes it al better, im exhausted right now from the business and trying to raise my little boy on my own, the memories of right now will be a long tale to telll my son, i cant wait till he's old enough so we can sit up and have movie nights and get pizza, i cant wait to take him to pick up his first car....... my situation is sooo far from where i thought it would be and sometimes i makes me real sad.... the harsh truth is my OWN family is broken and i cant fix it....... BUT..... one thing keeps me going, my baby boy, the strength he gives me is strange... i love i feel unparalleled....

good luck chris and i wish you guys the absolute best..... look after your new family, i guess you pretty scared right now at "fatherhood" as i was.... dont worry you'll be fine :-).......

its pretty amazing watching them grow and develop....

They finally let us go home this afternoon. Baby and mom are doing well. I want to introduce her to you guys with a couple of photos tonight or tomorrow.

To everyone who said this little one would be a game changer, you were 100% correct. Words can't describe it!!!

chris ive just finished my baby boys nursery!!!! Finally out my room now in his own space!!!

strangely i miss him being right next to me!!! LOL i love waking up and going into his room :-) now just need to get the finishign touches and he'll have a real nice space, i even fitted satalite Tv in their for when im in their on the nights :-)

Suriphina Lily Fine

She was born March 17th @ 2130!!!
After 5 days in the Hospital we are now home
We are still in shock and walking on air. My wife thanks you guys for the support, she knows a lot of you by name because the post seems to come up once in awhile during conversation

I have wanted kids for a long time and was in a relationship where she did not want any. Needles to say after a job relocation I had permission to apply for yet she did not want to move and was mad when I got it. We got divorced and I thank god because I am now with the love of my life and I have a step son now 4 that I meet when he was 2. I can not imagine how much greater the love for a child can be when it is your own child and you are always "dad" to them and not dave.

I wish you all the best and hope I can follow you in a year or two with a baby girl of my own!!

I have been taking shifts between baby duty and garage time and you are 100% correct. The garage time calms the nerves and helps me keep my head straight.
