Was able to get some good track time with the aero on a couple weeks ago and I am very pleased with the new setup . The Lang racing rebuilt motor is running super strong and I even hit 153 mph gps on the front straight with a wing because of exit speed and Powah! ( even kept up with a 991 Turbo S on the straight and pounded it in the corners at 14 minute mark) Now running my previous personal best as a standard lap on worn Sport cup 2's .

Thanks ! It's been a long road from 5 years ago when i tracked it stock lol. Just glad to finally be able to go out and pound it and just replace consumables . The motor is barely using any oil on track , oil and water temps are amazing , so should be good for a long time .

Looked like a blast and the car sounds great!

Looked like a couple dicey moments there on a few of passes......might have just been the camera perspective though.

I haven't run any Just Track It events, do they do a decent job of getting drivers in the correct run groups?

Ha yeah I definitely didn't trust some of them , a few point by right, steer right moments that I had to avoid. I was 15-20 mph faster in some of the corners and 8 -15 seconds faster per lap than everyone so it was a bit rough . Definitely one of the slower advanced groups I've run with but lots of track time ( 30 min sessions ) and everyone was very nice .

LOL, those were exactly the passes that made me cringe a bit.

Nice driving! Wish my 3.0si had that kind of power.

Everything is Varis dry carbon except for the APR wing. Really high quality stuff , very pleased once I finally received it lol . ( 6 month wait ) . I wanted a functional vented hood to draw air through my myriad of stacked coolers and boy has it worked . Oil temps are now only in the 240s on track and water temps peak in the 20x range . Air intake temps at speed are now only 10 degrees over ambient as well .

Love the car and good driving! Smooth throttle inputs and good hand position.

A few pointers if you want to put down a faster lap time.

1) Brake later, carry more speed into Turn 1. You can really cook it into there and balance the car with the throttle to get it to rotate. You should also downshift in a straight line instead of mid-corner. You're at risk of a mis-shift with your hand placement too.

2) Hold your line at Turn 3 out towards the right then turn HARD. It'll give you a later Apex and you can stay on the throttle all the way up to Turn 4.

That alone will probably give you 1-2sec.

And on a random safety note, you should keep your visor down or barely cracked. You don't expect to get hit in the eye with anything in a closed cockpit car but its happened to me. Luckily it was just some rubber and not a rock.

Happy motoring!
