Question about inspection II and atlanta based repair

Hey all,

The new to me roadster is due for her inspection II, so I'm calling around and trying to get a feel for who's good and bad in and around Atlanta. The dealer (global) said it'd be around 1500 for the service. I've called a local place Sport Motoring, and they said that inspection II doesn't require the valve adjustment and it would run me between 200 and 500 hundred depending on what needed to be done. They further stated the valve adjustment wouldn't be needed until 60,000k. From lurking around here, that appears to be bad info. SO question is, should I just go with the dealer, or does anyone have a good recommendation for work in Atlanta? I wish I had the knowledge and the living space to do it myself!
