Strut silver, black, or Chrome?
New to this "Awesome" forum. Will be picking up my 2006 Z4-M this weekend!
Of course, I am thinking of my mods even before I take delivery! Anyone have any opinions as to which looks best (Chrome, Black, Silver?) for struts and cross supports. I am looking at the Strong-Strut Titanium Silver bundle. Normally, Chrome is the only option for me! |

Yeah, friends don't let friends chrome.
Once you get the blackout grill (you are doing this right) you'll have no chrome on the car, so why stick it under the hood. Go with black or silver.

Black rules
Black in the engine bay is the way to go. Chrome is for Cadillacs and Okies

An old saying: "If it don't go, chrome it." The Z4M most definitely goes.. and deserves ANY other finish than chrome. Chrome is especially repugnant on wheels on a Z3 or Z4 (or any German car for that matter). Go wrinkle-finish, will match the valve cover.
