FS: CSL Headers

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
SOLD!!!!!!

As the title says, I have a set of CSL headers up for sale. (See below if you are unfamiliar with CSL headers) The headers are in very good condition with only minor markings typical of install/removal. Pictures of parts numbers are attached, and this link will take you to a website to verify the part. http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E4...aust_manifold/

The set I have for sale is for a right hand drive car, but will work perfectly fine in a Left hand drive Z4M. The only difference between l/r is that the right hand drive rear header has a flat spot to allow clearance for the steering mechanism.

Asking price is $1100 shipped, OBO.

FYI: I will try to respond as timely as possible to emails, but communicating during the day can be difficult for me at times due to work. Shipping would be within a few days at most after sale.

A bit about CSL headers:
CSL headers are relatively hard to find. They were originally designed for the CSL M3 (very limited production), and sold exclusively in Europe. They are uncatted and weight 2lbs less than the traditional euro headers. For the 05/06 euro M3, BMW started using these headers standard, and they also began using them on the Euro z4m. Thus the set up for sale is a genuine euro header with correct part number for the Z4M. New they run close to $2000.

John, you'll find more people interested over at m3f. I sold my SS Stepped V2 headers over there not long ago. GLWS!

Yea, mostly lurk on there, but it does suffer from "forum syndrome." Either way, I learned something

Sale fell through again!!!

Christ, there are a bunch of children on the M3 sites. Glad to know members here are much more adult and forthright here. I had them sold again, or so I thought...when the guy went to pay he asked what's the least I would take. I told him, "our agreed upon price." He then sent me partial payment and said he didn't have anymore in his account.

I told him he had two options, I could cx the payment and he could pay me in full when he had the funds, or I would keep it and would mail them out when he sent me the rest.

Come to find out, he hadn't send any payment....blah blah blah

Fing kids! (man I sound like an old man!)

Yeah, our forum is such a safe little haven! Even going to the general bmw forum I'm amazed at what passes for discussion there.

If I hadn't just installed some coil-overs I'd be sending you cash right now. Sadly I need to save up for a few months before I'm ready for headers. GLWS!

thanks Beta!

I may pull them off for a few months if I can't find a stable buyer in the next 2 days. PM me when you are thinking about headers, I just might have a set for you.

Comes to show the E46 M3 is becoming more affordable to less responsible/honest people. It feels only like yesterday when the E46 came out.
