OEM Z4 WindBlocker

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hello All,

My Z4 is gone, so I can sell the last part from it

I have an OEM windblocker for sale. http://www.shopbmwusa.com/ProductDet...FUM45Qod6BSv1A

I only have the middle peice, not the peices that go inbetween the 'rollbars'.

This is heavy duty plastic with a net middle. Two end peices screw into the back 'rollbars' and the middle peice clips in. Very easy to remove (takes 1 second).

Attached are a few pictures.

Please email at: mrose2771 AT gmail.com - as I do not check the boards often.

Accepting offers - would like around $250. Please do not lowball.

Best windblocker IMO, maybe drop the price a bit since it's not possible to get the two smaller pieces separately.

However for anyone buying, the two pieces in the roll bar are actually mesh covered in acrylic, so it won't affect performance to put regular acrylic in the roll bars. Great opportunity to get this piece for cheap.

The reason mesh works better is because it keeps constant pressure in the cabin, vs an acrylic wind blocker which increases turbulence.

GLWS!

Awesome - thanks for the bump, beta.

I agree, this windblocker is awesome. It sucks I couldnt get the two small rollbar peices out before insurance co. took my car. Either way, I think this is an awesome deal.

Price is very nego - as this wont work in my 335i

I've used both, I didn't experience that at all.

That data is from BMW, see this post.

'BMW found that pressure compensation between the interior of the vehicle and the air flowing around the exterior is essential if the anti buffet screen is to function optimally. For this reason a screen of webbed material proved to be superior to glass.'
