The problem with selling a car like a Z4MC on BaT is that it's a pretty short window to turn up the "right" buyer for any particular car, let alone find more than one right buyer to engage in a bidding fest and drive the price upwards towards what it should be. To really get full value takes patience because just like the cars themselves, the potential buyers aren't common.
Today while gassing up a guy comes up from behind to compliment me on mine and made a few comments indicating he was knowledgable about them. As I was leaving I looked back to see what he was driving - Carrera GT! Wow, nice to get a compliment from someone driving one of those beasts.

One thing BMW knows how to do better than any other manufacturer is their blues. I haven't seen a poorly executed medium to dark blue on BMWs, even Laguna Seca Blue is nice if you're in the right mood.
Audi used to have stunning blues back in the early 2000s. Outside of that most other blue for other manufacturers all pretty much is "meh." BMW, on the other hand, has a collection of just out-right stunning blues in just about every generation M, and even the non-M enjoys some really special blues. On the MZ4 front, there's actually 3 very special blues available from the factory...Interlagos, Montego, and Monaco. Out of all the standard colors available on the MZ4 Coupe: Jet Black Black Sapphire Metallic Alpine White Imola Red Titanium Silver Space Grey Silver Grey Sepang Bronze Interlagos Blue Montego Blue Monaco Blue ...There's more "blues" than other shades (unless you count silver and grey as the same). In 30 year or so, when I retire, maybe as a present I'll have my Interlagos Blue MZ4 Coupe repainted as San Marino Blue, my all time favorite BMW blue.
