Summary - e86 Z4 M Coupe Wheel and Tire Fitment

I've been researching wheel/tire fitment for a new set by recording the details that actually worked (or didn't) for other ZPOST members.

I find things to be more consumable in aggregate, so perhaps others will benefit from this compilation as well.

Link - BMW e86 Z4 M Coupe Wheel and Tire Fitment

Most common setup: Front 19x8.5 ET35, and Rear 19x9.5 ET25 (synthetic values based on the compiled data, not a recommendation)

Thanks to everyone on the board who shared their setup! Let me know if I recorded your config incorrectly, or if you'd like yours included.

I'll try to keep the list updated as I encounter new information (feel free to help out by PM'ing links).

Steve

First I have heard of this. Very small sampling to say that 19" is the most common.

Agreed it's a small sample size and it would have been more accurate to say, "the most common non-OEM wheel sizes from the sampled group".

That said, I've observed people commonly take advice from a single ZPOST member on this topic. "Will this work? / yes it will", threads are pretty common and that's a sample size of 1.

The most common is likely OEM, but we already know that works. I was only interested in people who have made changes to their wheels/tires.

Many more individuals than your sample size on this forum have made changes from the stock sizes. You could increase your statistics greatly if you searched and read the numerous posts of persons who have changed there tire sizes and or wheel sizes. This, of course would take a little bit of work on your part.

There are one or two on here that are running 17" wheels.
