Anyone have experience with OBD interface

Was about to purchase this cable/software and wondered if anyone has used it or similar device.

I need to reset my airbag light this time around, but I thought it could also be very practical for programming keys and other dealer $$$ programmable features.

That looks like what you need to do what you want to do. I have a blue cable like that (though much cheaper), but I needed to modify it to work. It looks like the one you linked is ready to go. I have used it to recode many options as well as clear codes.

That looks like the cable I use. I had to modify mine (solder pins 7 + 8 together) for it to see all the car's modules.
