Will I fit in a Z4MC???
Hey guys/gals! So basically I've been a lurker for a couple of months now. I'm a bit more active in 1addicts as I currently drive a 2010 135i. But it's been a couple of months since I've been obsessing about Z4MCs and since it's incredibly difficult to find one around Miami to test drive, and everytime I've called when one does appear, it has been already sold.
So what I'm asking for is for all you bigger guys out there to maybe chime in on the comfort part. Because if I do get one, it'll be my DD. I'm 6'1" 200lbs. Thanks in advance for your input!

I'm 6'4" 170 lbs (yep, skinny)
If I were 6'5", I would NOT fit. The car is uncomfortable for road trips, but otherwise satisfactory. So you should be fine. Hope this helps.

Thanks for letting me know! If you fit, I should have more than enough room. I don't think my weight will be an issue, I was more afraid of headroom.

I'm 6'0" 220lbs with mostly torso and short legs (30" inseam). I fit fine with a helmet and the seats scooted about 2/3rd of the way up.

I'm 6'1.5" 220 lbs 32" inseam and just barely fit. It took a while trying different seating positions until I found one that is comfortable for a long haul. It's nice having the seat memory to save different seating positions to try. It's a compromise between headroom and leg room. I don't see how people 6'4" or taller can get comfortable, their knees must be near steering wheel.
But, at your size, you should fit fine using it as a DD. Just buy one! |

I'm 5'10 and 200 lbs. I know, need to lose a few pound, getting old sucks......I fit really well and I suspect you will to....it's a great ride.

6'1" 185-190 here, and while I fit fine in the Z4C for long drives I find that, even after almost 8 years and 145K miles I still occasionally whack the side of my head on the top of the door frame when I get into the car too quick. Price of being a coupe-lover I guess.

6'1, 245 here, and I'm fine. I fit much better when I weighed 218, but that's another story. Headroom/legroom are fine for me. I'm long-legged for my size.

bloody hell, 6"1' here and i hardly bloody fit.. chair as low as it goes, and then a trade off between how far back you can get the chair with set incline as the darn plastic squeaks if the chair leans back on the plastic behind the driver seat..
thats darn plastic squeak!!!

I am pretty much your exact size, 6'1" 200lbs. I fit well. I keep the seat in lowest position out of preference but I've never felt too cramped. 6+ hours driving will leave me sore but other than that, I'd say it's comfortable for me.

if you're looking for a test fit any e85/e86 Z4 with the sport seats will feel the same.

I think it really depends on proportions rather than just overall height, as well as preferred seat position. Since learning (at the track) to keep the back of seat more upright, I have 2 or 3 clicks before squeeky back now.
